Hello everyone!

My name is Katy Bradley, and I have been teaching at West Georgia Technical College (previously West Central Technical College) for four years. I grew up outside of Athens, Georgia, and completed my bachelors in English at the University of Georgia. I then completed my masters in English online with National University (based in La Jolla, California) while I taught remedial and diploma level English courses. Just last quarter, I completed a technical certificate of credit through Southwest Georgia Technical College in E-Learning Design and Development. As you can tell, I am a strong believer in and proponent of technology in education!

I began teaching at CEC last year, and I enjoy the unique combination of British literature and business writing included in the curriculum of this course. In particular I enjoy teaching this course because it gives students the opportunity to improve their writing and critical thinking skills, which are both vital to success in academics, the workforce, and life in general.

I look forward to a wonderful semester full of growth and maturity in students’ writing.
