Mechanical Drawing is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career related to Engineering or Drafting. In this course students learn the basics of mechanical drawing from manually drawing orthographies and isometrics to using CADD (computer aided drafting and design) with 3D Parametric software. After the completion of the first CADD drawing students are eligible to receive a free copy of the software – a $4,500 value.
Architectural Drafting is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the field of Architecture. In this course, using a state-of-the-art 3D parametric software, students learn the basics of Architectural Drafting. Projects include drawing a practice house, then designing, drawing and building a scale model of a house for a client based on their wants and desires. Other activities include weekly terminology test.
