The Horticulture program prepares team members for careers and/or further education in the green industries including landscaping, gardening, plant production, landscape design, floral design, and turfgrass management. Hands-on activities in each class allow team members to gain knowledge and skills that can be applied at home or on the job.
In the Biotechnology program, team members develop skills and laboratory techniques that will lead to employment or study in laboratory science and an understanding of many current scientific issues. This course may be counted as a science elective or as a career/tech course.
